The NJGT Junior Tour is a grass roots development Not-For-Profit Regional Golf Tour available to junior golfers aged 10 through 19. Tour members enjoy events from May through the summer and early fall, vying for weekly single day stroke play events, and 2 day events.
This tour is dedicated to offering junior golfers opportunities to learn and further develop their skills in a tournament circuit that blends competition and fun. “Our role is to teach the rules and etiquette of competitive golf, while providing our junior competitive players with the best possible competitive golf environment, supported by Golf Ontario & CJGA certified rules officials and volunteers.”
Players are given the opportunity to develop their skills on a tournament circuit while making new friends and having fun. Our junior golfers tackle some great golf courses from Barrie to Sudbury, North Bay and Elliot Lake, and are exposed to all different types and levels of facilities. This Regional tour is centered in Sudbury and extends to residents from North of Barrie to the Sault, Timmins to North Bay and everywhere in between.
Players must be 19 years and under as of the tournament date to be eligible to compete. The age divisions are as follows: Co – Ed Minor Bantam (U13); Bantam Boys (U15), U17 Boys & Junior Boys (U19); Bantam Girls (U15); Junior Girls (U19).
Please reach out to NJGT@Bell.net if you have never played the tour and would like to inquire about having your athlete participate.
