NORTHEASTERN JUNIOR GOLF TOUR
The NJGT Junior Tour is a grassroots development Not-For-Profit Regional Golf Tour available to junior golfers aged 10 through 19. Tour members enjoy events from June through the summer and early fall, vying for single day stroke play events.
This tour is dedicated to offering junior golfers opportunities to learn and further develop their skills in a tournament circuit that blends competition and fun. “Our role is to teach the rules and etiquette of competitive golf, while providing our junior competitive players with the best possible competitive golf environment, supported by Golf Ontario certified rules officials and volunteers.”
Players are given the opportunity to develop their skills on a tournament circuit while making new friends and having fun. Our junior golfers tackle some great golf courses from Parry Sound to Sudbury, North Bay and Elliot Lake, and are exposed to all different types and levels of golf courses. The Tour is centered in Sudbury and extends to residents from North of Barrie to the Sault, Timmins, North Bay and Parry Sound.
Players must be 19 years and under as of the tournament date to be eligible to compete. The age divisions are as follows: Co – Ed Minor Bantam (U13); Bantam Boys (U15), (U17) Boys & Junior Boys (U19); Bantam Girls (U15) & Junior Girls (U19).
